Church Leaders meet for Thy Kingdom Come

On Ascension morning, Church Leaders from across the different denominations joined together for a service at Chelmsford Cathedral. This is the first time the Church Leaders have been able to meet in person, since March 2020 monthly meetings had been conducted virtually.

Ascension day marks the start of Thy Kingdom Come, which runs from Thursday 13th May  to Pentecost Sunday 23rd May 2021. Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement that invites Christians around the world to pray from Ascension to Pentecost for more people to come to know Jesus.

We said goodbye to Nick Lear our outgoing Chair as his ministry takes him to Devon and Bishop Peter Hill, Revd Dr Andrew Prasad and Revd Roy Fowler who are retiring soon.

Our thanks go to Chelmsford Cathedral for their hospitality and beautiful service including wonderful singing from the top of the tower and their choir outside.
